gear up boy

im so so tired. Iv been workin all day. Its hard pala when u don’t have help in the house. I don’t get to study (I mean I don’t get to think about studying anymore). our first major plate for this sem is a Hospitel (hospital + hotel—for Medical Tourism) to be submitted next next week and iv done no research yet. So scary. zero school work done for this two-day typhoon break. I think about that between doing the dishes and the laundry. Shmuck. What I don’t like doing is cleaning the bedrooms. i mean it’s ok if I had to arrange or rearrange stuff everyday……but the dust wiping…floor cleaning…noooooooo. Im allergic to dust, I hate it. At hindi ko kaya gumamit ng bunot. I have really bad foot coordination. No dancing, no bunot. I just use my hands….or have my brother do it. >:D
but im quite glad I know how to do house work now. It’s my first time learning to use the washing machine. so easy, I love it!
I also like working in the kitchen. I can cook (but my Ayo is way, way better than me...mwah!). I like preparing food. Masarap lang kasi magkalat. Chop this…dice that….but no peeling. I almost peeled off my thumb once. At nagka major sugar burn na pala ako….resulting into super fugly scars. Pero masaya parn magluto. Its nice to look into your panrty and find everything you need for cooking. To those of you who also like the kitchen, I recommend that you read the book “Like Water for Chocolate” by Laura Esquivel. Spicy and sexy! Whohooo! Ayo gave me a copy for my 16th birthday (nanliligaw palang yan a….humihirit na! hehe love you hon). Read it guys. Masaya pramis.

We had a seminar in school about Architecture and Italian Design last, last week (I think). Ana Barbara of NABA was our speaker…she’s really good. Her lecture was very insightful. It made me want to do a lot more things….besides architecture. When I grow up and become a prominent architect **(-.-)** I would like to go into the fashion industry. I’d probably design sports wear--- Technology in fashion. Why? because It’s the future. Sports wear will be street fashion, school uniforms, formal wear and so on.
We’ll have key pads on our sleeves, shirts with juice pouches, or stylish gowns with cooling gel inside to keep us comfortable…maybe a watch with an mp2000 player or whatever. Ang dami talaga. There’s this Italian guy who designs pasta to cars. Omfg. Omfg talaga. Ang galling nya. Gusto ko rin. I want to design furniture, cars, soda bottles, and toasters. Dapat kasi talaga maging versatile tayong lahat. Mas sasaya ang buhay diba. ^0^
Part of Ana Barbara’s lecture was about doing more things. Like cooking, writing….if you write good text, and cook good food, maybe you can make good architecture(Miki)/film(Ayo) as well. And so I do. Cooking, cleaning, selling polo shirts, taking photos, going out with Ayo…things that I love and have learned to love doing. I don’t want to be too grade-conscious. My pathetic excuse….pero kasi I don’t want to miss out on other things. I want to get to do these other stuff that are also important to me. Thinking, having good tea, doodling, going to the grocery (for nothing really…just pushing carts and checking out products), making bracelets and robot keychains, collecting junk (cute soda cans and bottles) eclavou. Basta go lang ng go! I wish people could just keep working. I wish we didn’t have to lose energy of feel tired. Imagine an accumulated amount of time of 20++ years for sleeping. Life is just too short to be spent like that. Pero sabagay masarap din matulog.
Another good feeling we experience every day…every three days for some of us. I like sleeping at dawn. It feels different when you see the sky slowly lighting up. That part of the day when you see a lot of contrast in the horizon. So pretty. Plus I get to miss the afternoon. Its my down time kasi. I prefer to work at night or in the morning. happy times pag dusk til dawn!

Oh, my camera broke kaninang morning. so hassle. i managed to ask my mom to buy me a new one which she happily obliged. Well, as a sort of penitence, I cleaned my room but haven't really finished. I made room already for my new pc! woohoo! well, i also prepared to post some certificates and whatnots on my walls. pretty soon, i'll have a great room (again!) for people to lounge and enjoy!
and i found the cable (as in the slot for cable tv thats on the wall) so i can now probly hook up a small tv in my room! hahaha

Hiatus!
1) Have to read 231 pesos worth of history 165 handouts by the end of the year! ouch!
2) Have to make A-B excercise film for Digital Film Making! by next-next Thursday!
3) Have to remake a scene from the movie "Kafka" for Digital Film Making! by next-next-next Thursday!
4) Theology report on Sex in Media!
5) History report on Chinese Mestizos/Mestizas (Just like my Miki-bee! Mwah!)
and last but not the least...
6) Danasin ang pagka-meron ko. Philosophy 102 long test!!!
On the up side though, I managed to download "Flashdance... What a Feeling!" by Irene Cara! I love this song, and would pretty much dance to it if I can! But I haven't been able to work out, as exhibted by my growing belly! I also found the 1967 intro of Mighty Thor comic cartoon! Ah, I definitely love THAT intro! Its so happy and... well, ancient. Haha I'll post the lyrics (well, the only 4 lines the choir sings) below.
On the rainbow bridge of Asgard
Where the blue, mean heavens roar
You'll be held in awe by thunder,
the god of thunder, Mighty Thor!
Pretty much as sensless as one would expect but Thor is my fave Marvel hero. Though I sorta disliked the "cloned-Thor" fiasco they're pulling in Marvel Civil War, but hey-ho! Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) is the one who's pulling the strings and he's my second fave so I guess I'll have to trust Tony on this one. By the way, my third fave is Quicksilver Pietro Maximoff!
Speaking of Iron Man, the movie's in the pipe! Rumor has it that Robert Downey JR's playing Stark. Ugh. I hope they don't do it like the horrible Ghostrider movie. Haven't seen it but the trailer treatment just looks horrendous!
Good movie for this week? Casino Royale! Its great! A bit on the long side though but still pretty damn cool! Borat looks like a fun movie as well.
*Side note: It would seem that the REAL Thor's going to make an appearance in Civil War. There are hints in the various tie-ins... I'm guessing that he'll be the one who'll end the war. Hey, he's a god!
I have Nap Jamir Cinematography class in a couple of hours! Yahoo! I love him so much! He's like an uber-cool grand pappy! Smart and funny as heck!
Ofcourse, I gotta get some rest, so I'll post some stuff as soon as I'm done with 'em. Like my landscape paintings (two of them)!
Cheers!,

Sharks fin, Henna, Hair Color, and now Veet.

to those of you who like Korean food, check out the Korean resto at the Royal Place near Ever Commonwealth. They serve really good Kimchi Gae. It's like sinigang....with kimchi. yum! and i love their fried rice with minced potatoes. i know its double carbs but it's really good. *droool if you want dessert, go to the second floor of the building. there's a darling cake shop there. they serve tea in cute teapots and cups. ^o^*

Vectorian Era
The second one is Nora, a character for my animated short, "Love from Blazing Skies". I used Keira Knightley as a template.
So there you have it! My first attempts all done just after lunch!
